Practical details and location
The property’s own website
The property's own site: its name and its place are on the page
Safely managed drinking water, Costa Rica, 2024: The World Health Organization reports 81 per cent of the population nationally, 80 per cent in urban areas, 81 per cent in rural areas using a safely managed drinking water service. This describes the country, not this property, and says nothing about what reaches a guest room here. It is recorded because it is the background against which a property's own treatment is worth publishing.
Regional data is context about the location. It does not establish conditions inside a room.
Ambient PM2.5 and PM10 near Talamanca Mountains, Costa Rica, 30 days to 2026-08-17: Modelled ambient air over this location averaged 6.1 micrograms per cubic metre of PM2.5 and 8.3 of PM10 across the 720 hours to 2026-08-17, peaking at 16.8 PM2.5. The World Health Organization annual guideline for PM2.5 is 5. This is the outdoor air over the area, modelled rather than measured on site, and it is not a reading of the air inside any room.
Regional data is context about the location. It does not establish conditions inside a room.

The property's own experiences page names the watercourse a guest bathes in during its river bath, the Rio Calientillo. A named river is a published water source for a bathing facility, and no treatment, filtration specification, laboratory panel or sanitation method accompanies it.
In their words: “The Spa River Bath, a transformative journey that takes place in a massage bed embedded within the Calientillo River.”
Light Rhythm
The room page for the Casita King lists large picture windows and black-out blinds in the sleeping area, with no product, brand or specification named and no lighting colour temperature published.

The resort names El Cultivo as its on site chef's garden supplying the kitchens, and states that its signature restaurant sources ingredients within Costa Rica.
In their words: “Founded on farming and community, rustic Grano is AltaGracia's signature restaurant telling a story of place, traditions, and ingredients sourced exclusively within the borders of the country.”
In its own announcement of June 2022, distributed through PRWeb, the resort stated that 99 percent of the ingredients used across its dining venues came from Costa Rica; no method, period or verifier is named alongside the figure.

Disclosures
Compare what each stay offers, how it was checked and what still needs confirming. Assessment labels describe the review, not an overall quality rating.
A low score means a property has not published information. It does not mean the property is unsafe, unhealthy or poorly run.
A score describes proof: what a stay publishes and, on a Human Garage certified stay, what our assessor checked in person. It is not a quality rating of the property. Listings are free, and any commercial relationship is disclosed.
