Terms of use

1. What the site is

Verified Wellness Spaces is a directory of places to stay. Each record sets out what we know about a property’s air, water, light, EMF, materials, food, design and sound, and how we know it. Records are built from:

• what the property publishes, on its own site and elsewhere;
• what the property sends us;
• for properties that hold the Human Garage Certified Spaces (HGCS) seal, what Human Garage observed during an on-site assessment.

Every record shows its sources and the date we read them. A low score, or a gap, means information was not published. It does not mean a property is unsafe, unhealthy or poorly run.

2. We take no bookings

You cannot book, reserve or pay for anything on this site. Links to a property take you to the property’s own site, with tags that tell the property the visit came from us. Any booking you make is between you and the property, on the property’s terms. We are not a party to it, and we are not a travel agent or tour operator.

3. Listings are free

Any property can be listed, free. A listing cannot be bought, and no payment changes what a record says. A property cannot pay to be added, to be removed, to score higher or to appear higher.

The stays featured on the home page are chosen by us editorially. That is not paid placement, and certified clients may be among them.

4. No guarantee

Records are a snapshot of what was published or found on a date, and that date is on the page. Properties change: they refit, change suppliers and replace systems, and nothing requires them to tell us. So:

• we do not guarantee that a record is complete, current or error free;
• we do not guarantee that any property is safe, healthy or suitable for you, or that staying there will have any particular effect on your health;
• we do not guarantee that any property will be available or will accept a booking.

Use a record as a guide to what to ask. Ask the property directly before you book, especially about anything that matters to your health. Nothing on the site is medical advice.

5. Corrections and the right of reply

If something on a record is wrong or out of date, email corrections@verifiedwellnessspaces.com with a source. A property can answer its own record at reply@verifiedwellnessspaces.com. We review every submission against the evidence. We change a record when the evidence supports the change, and score changes are logged on the changelog. Sending a correction does not guarantee a change, and a change can move a score down as well as up.

6. The HGCS seal

What it is. The Human Garage Certified Spaces (HGCS) seal is issued by Ancient Rituals LLC to a property after an on-site assessment by Human Garage.

What it means. On the date of the assessment, at the places assessed, Human Garage observed what the record describes. Each certified record states what was observed, on how many of the eight pathways, and where the assessment’s scope, instrument readings or dates are not on file.

What it does not mean. The seal is not a guarantee of health outcomes. It does not cover rooms, systems or dates outside the assessment. It does not certify any claim the property makes on its own site. It says nothing about service, price or comfort.

The commercial relationship. A property pays us for its assessment. Every certified record says so. The fee pays for the assessment work. It does not buy the seal, a score or a position.

Withdrawal. We can suspend or withdraw a seal if the property no longer meets the criteria, if we find information was misrepresented, or if the certification lapses.

7. How we make money

Listings are free and cannot be bought. We may earn a commission on retreats and stays booked through Human Garage. It never changes a record, a seal or a place in the directory.

We also earn from on-site certification assessments and from courses we sell.

8. Using the site

You may read, share and link to the site for personal and non-commercial use. Please do not:

• copy records in bulk or republish them as your own data set without our written permission;
• scrape the site in a way that burdens it;
• misrepresent a record or the HGCS seal, including by saying a property is certified when its record does not say so;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

Properties may quote their own record, with a link to it.

9. Our content

The text, records, scoring method, design and marks on the site, including the HGCS seal, belong to us or our licensors. A property may display the seal only while its certification is current and only as we agree with it in writing.

Quotations from property websites and other sources belong to their owners. We quote them to cite our evidence.

10. Links to other sites

We link to property websites, standards bodies and other sources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or anything you buy from them.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep your mandatory legal rights.

Otherwise, the site is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

• any decision you make, or any booking, stay, cost or outcome, based on what you read on the site;
• anything a property does or fails to do;
• loss of profit, business or data, or any indirect loss.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the change.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes go to the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming. If you are a consumer, you can also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live, and the mandatory consumer laws of that country still apply to you.
