Fifteen bungalows and three two-bedroom villas on a private reserve above Playa Ocotal, run by the Poncon family. The ocean-view bungalows are open on three sides and set into the treetops on a cliff between thirty and a hundred feet above the property's own beach and cove, which is reached across a fifty yard jungle suspension bridge. Trees grow through some of the bungalows and the showers are open air. The farm on the premises has cows, chickens, gardens and a shrimp farm, and the property publishes that roughly sixty per cent of what the kitchen uses comes from it. The furniture is by Simplemente Madera in SmartWood certified timber, labelled with source, species and date of manufacture.
