Safely managed drinking water, Jordan, 2024: The World Health Organization reports 89 per cent of the population nationally using a safely managed drinking water service. This describes the country, not this property, and says nothing about what reaches a guest room here. It is recorded because it is the background against which a property's own treatment is worth publishing.
Regional data is context about the location. It does not establish conditions inside a room.
Ambient PM2.5 and PM10 near Dana Biosphere Reserve, Jordan, 30 days to 2026-08-17: Modelled ambient air over this location averaged 10.3 micrograms per cubic metre of PM2.5 and 20.6 of PM10 across the 720 hours to 2026-08-17, peaking at 16.4 PM2.5. The World Health Organization annual guideline for PM2.5 is 5. This is the outdoor air over the area, modelled rather than measured on site, and it is not a reading of the air inside any room.
Regional data is context about the location. It does not establish conditions inside a room.
Evidence by area

In their words: “Feynan has 26 unique guest rooms, all with ensuite and lit by candlelight at night.”
Electric lighting is published as confined to the kitchen, washrooms and office and described only as low energy CFL and LED lamps, with no colour temperature, dimming or flicker specification published.

Materials and Textiles
A magazine report written from a visit describes the building as constructed from local gravel and mud, with no finish, adhesive, textile or cleaning chemistry named.
In their words: “The 26-room, off-the-grid lodge is constructed from local gravel and mud, powered by solar, and lit with candles made on-site.”
Food and Kitchen
The lodge states, without publishing a method, audit or certifier, that over 80 percent of food and other supplies are bought within a 40 kilometre radius of the lodge. The figure is the property's own and no verification is published.

The lodge names its bread supplier, a local Bedouin baker, and the method used, flat bread baked fresh daily on a traditional saj oven.
In their words: “The bread served at the lodge is supplied by Um Khalid, a Bedouin mother of five from the local community who bakes the flat bread (known as shraak in Arabic) fresh each day on a traditional half moon shaped oven or saj.”
Biophilic and Healing Design
The property publishes the design intent of the lodge, a caravanserai plan, and names Ammar Khammash as the architect.
In their words: “He called on renowned architect Ammar Khammash to reflect the dream.”
The property publishes a named passive technique in the fabric, stone slabs set into the front wall for temperature control, shading the building from high summer sun and admitting low winter sun.
In their words: “The stone slabs inserted in the front wall of the lodge are an ancient Yemeni technique for temperature control, providing shading from the high sun during summer and allowing the winter lower sun to heat the building and emit warmth into the brisk desert nights.”
Guest rooms are published as arranged around a series of internal courtyards, with deluxe rooms carrying private balconies onto the landscape.
In their words: “Each of the 26 guestrooms at Feynan is unique, designed around a series of internal courtyards reminiscent of the ancient caravanseri or inns on the silk routes through the desert.”
Sound and Sensory Ecology
Not published. We looked and found nothing on this, which is a gap in what we could read, not a finding about the building.
Disclosures
Compare what each stay offers, how it was checked and what still needs confirming. Assessment labels describe the review, not an overall quality rating.
A low score means a property has not published information. It does not mean the property is unsafe, unhealthy or poorly run.
A score describes proof: what a stay publishes and, on a Human Garage certified stay, what our assessor checked in person. It is not a quality rating of the property. Listings are free, and any commercial relationship is disclosed.
