The space

Published: the architect gives the composition of the composite structural insulated panels used in the roofs and the spa, a recycled expanded polystyrene core with earth based, fibre reinforced polymer renders. Roof geometries act as canopies for natural ventilation and shade, daylight is used so that artificial lighting is not needed by day, and existing trees were retained or relocated. Supplied by the resort: the site sits among rice fields, coconut trees, tropical vegetation, rivers and waterfalls, with bamboo and other natural materials used throughout. No bamboo species, preservative treatment, supplier, mattress or linen fibre is named.

Water and food

Published: filtered well water is listed among the resort's practices, and its pools are saltwater infinity pools with no sanitation method given. Supplied by the resort: the well water is filtered, and the site has water-conscious design and a natural spring bio-filtered lake. Published: growing areas carry fruit trees, herbs and vegetables used in the kitchen. Supplied by the resort: E.A.R.T.H Restaurant & Lounge works with local suppliers and producers wherever possible, with no organic or local share stated.

Cleaning

Published and confirmed by the resort: guest amenities are chemical free and pest control is natural, with no product named. Housekeeping and laundry products are a separate question the resort has not yet answered.

Still being verified

The resort says its departments are still checking drinking water filtration, refills, packaging and testing, the cooking fats used in its kitchens, and its housekeeping and laundry products. None of these is confirmed on this record until they reply.

How to read this page

About this record

About the evidencewhat measurements mean, coverage, and when we read it

Published details for 7 of 8 topicsMeasured means a measurement: a reading with a unit, taken by a named party or an instrument, about this building. A certificate is not one, however rigorous the certificate, because what reaches a reader is the mark and not the readings behind it. Published details means the property or a third party published something we could cite and check, whether it names a system or simply asserts it. This record has measurements on 0 of 8 pathways and published details for 7 of 8, across 21 cited items.

Ulaman Eco Luxury Resort at a glance

Ulaman Eco Luxury Resort is a villa resort in Kaba-Kaba, Tabanan, Bali, Indonesia. We have reviewed 8 of eight pathways, including published details about the indoor environment and the stay. Read each source for the room, location and date it covers. Last reviewed 2026-09-10. Confirm arrangements for your room and travel dates before booking.

An assessor of ours standing in a room and writing down what was obvious from being there is printed on this record and counted in neither number. An assessor of ours standing in the same room with an instrument has produced a reading, and a reading counts whoever took it.

Not published is not unsafe. A low score means a property has not published information. It does not mean the property is unsafe, unhealthy or poorly run.

These counts measure disclosure. These scores describe disclosure, not property quality. This index has no commercial relationship with the properties listed unless a badge on the listing says otherwise.

We take no commission and this is not a booking link. Counts describe published evidence, cited to the source. No commercial relationship unless a seal says otherwise.

Listed is what the property or a public source says, read and cited by us. It is the state of most of this index and it is not a mark against anyone: a listing is free, permanent and open to every property. Verified means evidence was submitted and confirmed. Certified means a whole-building health standard was awarded, by us or by a body under the named standard and its own scope. Certification does not confirm every personal requirement. What each of the three means.

What is not publishedthe gaps in the public record, named

Air Ecology rests on a single architect statement about natural ventilation. Guest rooms are listed as air conditioned, but no filter grade, no fresh air supply rate, and no carbon dioxide, particulate or volatile organic compound reading is published, and no mould inspection or remediation protocol appears anywhere. Nothing is published either way about combustion sources inside guest rooms. On water, the source is named as an on site well and the water is described as filtered, but no filter, membrane, treatment train, contaminant test panel, laboratory report or mineral profile is published, and the saltwater pools carry no published sanitation method or chemistry. Lighting evidence is limited to daylight: nothing is published on circadian or tunable fittings, evening colour temperature, flicker, blackout provision or exterior lighting discipline. EMF Harmony is empty. Nothing is published on network topology, wired data, access point or smart meter placement, shielding, demand switching or any measured field level in a sleeping area. The villa amenity list advertises high speed wifi, which is neither disclosure nor evidence of an absence, and the hydroelectric and solar generation the resort publishes is an energy matter that says nothing about the wireless environment. The material palette is published in design press and the composite panel build up is specified, but no bamboo species, no borate or smoke preservative treatment, no bamboo supplier, no mattress composition, no linen fibre content or textile certification, and no paint, adhesive, sealant or cleaning product is named. On food, an on site organic garden and local sourcing are stated with no share of supply, supplier, certification, cooking oil or cookware published. On sound, one sentence in design press says the units are insulated from heat and sound, with no assembly, rating or measured level behind it, and nothing is published on fragrance or diffusion.

  • Safely managed drinking water, Indonesia: The World Health Organization reports 30 per cent of the population nationally, 35 per cent in urban areas, 24 per cent in rural areas using a safely managed drinking water service. This describes the country, not this property, and says nothing about what reaches a guest room here. It is recorded because it is the background against which a property's own treatment is worth publishing. Source
  • Ambient PM2.5 and PM10 near Kaba-Kaba, Tabanan, Bali, Indonesia: Modelled ambient air over this location averaged 18.7 micrograms per cubic metre of PM2.5 and 21.6 of PM10 across the 720 hours to 2026-08-17, peaking at 52.7 PM2.5. The World Health Organization annual guideline for PM2.5 is 5. This is the outdoor air over the area, modelled rather than measured on site, and it is not a reading of the air inside any room. Source

Questions travelers ask about Ulaman Eco Luxury Resort

What does Ulaman Eco Luxury Resort publish about water?

The record includes a named source, system or specification. Check its exact scope; this does not by itself establish quality or room-level performance.

What is published about air and ventilation?

We can only report what is published about the rooms themselves. A statement is published, but the record does not yet provide a specification or measurement supporting it.

What is published about the EMF environment?

The record does not currently contain a qualifying published specification or measurement. This is an information gap, not a finding about safety.

What should I confirm for my stay?

Check drinking-water arrangements, cleaning and laundry products, cooking oils, bedding, toiletries and lighting for your exact room and dates. A published specification is useful context; it does not confirm a personal request or a service throughout your stay.

Ask the property to record agreed arrangements against your reservation and share them with the teams responsible for delivering them.

Not published is not unsafehow to read the evidence, and what this index does not promise

A low score means a property has not published information. It does not mean the property is unsafe, unhealthy or poorly run.

These scores measure disclosure. These scores describe disclosure, not property quality. This index has no commercial relationship with the properties listed unless a badge on the listing says otherwise.

Conditions change, and we will not always know. Every record is a snapshot of what a property had published when we read it, and that date is on the page. Conditions change: a property can refit, change suppliers or replace a system at any time, and nothing requires it to tell us. We re-read records and ask properties directly for updates, but there will always be a gap between what is true today and what was published when we looked. Use this as a frame of reference for what to ask, not as a substitute for asking. Take your own questions to the property before you book, and tell us if you find something we have wrong.

We report what properties publish. We do not inspect, certify or vouch for any property on this index unless a listing says we assessed it on site, and we accept no responsibility for decisions made or outcomes experienced on the basis of what you read here.
