Land van Yemaya is a private retreat estate in Bellingwolde, Groningen, on the Dutch-German border, owned by Frits. The property's own site states the estate sits on more than 50,000 square metres of private nature and is let whole, one group at a time, for week-long retreats of up to 50 guests. Frits answered questions on a call with Jordan Lineham on 9 September 2026 and by email on 11 September 2026; those answers sit alongside what the property publishes on its own site, and are marked as his own account rather than anything independently checked. Rooms and the rental model
The property's own site states the main accommodations offer 38 beds across twelve rooms, with singles, doubles, shared rooms and a loft, on an estate it gives as more than 50,000 square metres for gatherings of up to 50 guests. Frits gave us different figures: about 20 rooms at present, some shared, expanding to 40 single rooms next year, a capacity of 40, and an estate of 65,000 square metres. Both sets of numbers are recorded here as each of them stated them, and neither has been checked on the ground. He stated by email on 11 September 2026 that the whole estate is rented to professional retreat organisers by the week, in blocks of 6 or 7 nights, rather than by the room.
