Intaaya was built by its owners, Kinga and Cezary, with the architects Pablo Luna Studio. Their surnames are not published, and the film carries no quote from them, so what follows is the place and the record, not their words.

You have paid the wellness premium for the room with the view. Then you found the window sealed and the air arriving through a grille.

Thirteen canvas suites follow a cliff on Nusa Penida, an island most visitors to Bali never reach. The suites are open sided. There is no glazing between the bed and the horizon.

That is not a styling decision. A sealed room needs machinery to breathe. These rooms are crossed by the sea breeze, so the air you sleep in changed a moment ago.

What was built here, and why it reads differently

The five shared structures are bamboo, by Pablo Luna Studio. The Shell Restaurant names its two species: Dendrocalamus asper and Petung. Most properties say tropical hardwood and stop there. A material you can name is a material you can check.

Dinner is grown on the property's own farm and cooked in a kitchen open to guests, so you can stand at the pass and see how short the distance from soil to plate is.

What the assessment found

Jordan Lineham assessed Intaaya on site for Certified Spaces on 17 August 2026, over one stay. No instrument was used. This is what being there established.

The guest suites were confirmed as open-sided canvas with no fixed glazing, ventilated by cross breeze rather than by a sealed and conditioned air path. After dark there was no overhead blue-white lighting, blackout provision at every bed, and daylight reaching every sleeping space. Produce was traced to the property's own farm and checked against what was served, not against a menu. Across the site there was no amplified music, no piped audio in the guest or dining areas, and no mechanical plant audible from a sleeping space. The sea and the vegetation are the ambient sound.

Wireless provision and access point placement were checked in person. No field reading was taken, so that row stops below the top tier, and the record says so in those words.

On 10 September 2026 Human Garage confirmed that the whole property's water runs through reverse osmosis from a natural well, and that the laundry products in use are non-toxic. Those are operational confirmations. No test panel is published and no product names are on file.
